I am not writing this to tell you the story before you watch this short documentary, but I do want to say something about it.

Being away from home is not sad. In fact, when someone lives outside of their country, "homesick" speaks to the sense of discovery that one feels when they realize the universe has closed in on itself.

A friend of mine, who is a photographer, and I had a conversation in a cafe with someone you will see in the film. We had an hour together, talking about his life. He said 16 years ago he was offered an opportunity to work in another country. With this business trip, his life was forever changed, and today he feels happy to have accepted the offer. It is at this point that the film begins.
