Every year, as the Earth passes through the debris left in space by the Swift-Tuttle comet, we can observe the Perseoid meteor shower: called Bersavoshi in Iran. This spectacular event peaks between August 10 and 13, when stargazers might catch a glimpse of up to 100 meteors an hour. These images from 2020 were recorded over the course in Saman city and Bardeh village in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
