As Iranian cities grow, there are fewer and fewer large residential gardens and outdoor spaces. Many city-dwellers have turned to their balconies to ensure their lives continue to be graced with the plants, flowers and bright colors they have always known. These balconies and small outdoor spaces have helped to keep Iranian city neighborhoods cheerful and welcoming, a tonic to the people who live there and passersby alike.
