During the coronavirus outbreak, many businesses and public places were shut down to restrict the spread of the virus, and schools were no exception, as they were regarded as high-risk environments. While in many places in Iran, schooling and classes continued online, for children in poor and remote regions with no access to computers, smartphones or the internet, this has not been an option, so social distancing and outside classes have been crucial to these children’s education.
