Iran's security services are conducting an anti-terror operation in Tehran after the first successful attack of its kind by ISIS at several locatoins in the city. The terrorists carried out the attacks using suicide bombs and guns in attacks Iran’s parliament and the shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini.

ISIS is a radical Sunni Muslim group. It regards Iranian Shia Muslim as heretics.
