Tehran’s Vahdat Hall began hosting a series of concerts by Kayhan Kalhor and Erdal Erzincan on December 3. Kalhor plays the Iranian kamancheh, and Erzincan is a master of the Turkish baglama. Both stringed instruments date back centuries, and have been used in music across Iran, Turkey, and Central Asia. The concerts run until December 6.
