Tehran is hosting the 14th International Flowers and Plants Exhibition, which takes place at the capital's Goftegoo Park. The festival, which spans an area of 12,000 square meters, features flowers and plants from both domestic producers and companies around the world. An area of 5,000 square meters has been reserved for commerce, giving companies the opportunity to sell a wide selection of flowers and plants. Although companies in Tehran feature in the show, plant and flower businesses operating outside the capital will dominate the domestic displays due to more favorable climates, more affordable costs for land use and lower wages. The festival runs until May 13.
