Iran's morality police have launched a new operation. Tehran's chief police officer, Hossein Sajedinia, announced that 7,000 under cover police would be sent out on the streets to monitor the public's dress and behavior. Sajedinia emphasized that the under cover agents would not take direct steps toward members of the police, but instead report cases and details to uniformed police, who will then take action.
