A group of volunteers collected cigarette butts in Tehran today, cleaning the streets from Tajrish to Valiasr Squares. The charity Tolu e bineshaan ha (The rise of the anonymous) recently helped find homes for many of the volunteers, who had all slept rough on the streets of Tehran. The clean-up was organized to raise awareness about the conditions of the capital’s streets.
