One of Tehran’s most historical houses is being torn down to make way for an extensive new development project. The 11,0000-square-meter former residential property, situated on Jordan Street in the northern part of the city, will be replaced with a range of new commercial and residential properties. Many Tehran residents have expressed disappointment that the grand building will no longer be a feature of the capital.
