The Death of Sattar, Two Years On
Sattar Beheshti died on November 3 2012, days after being arrested by Cyber Police for posting critical comments about the government on Facebook and his blog. Beheshti issued a public complaint to prison authorities, saying that he had been tortured while in Evin Prison, and was shortly thereafter moved to an unknown location. He died two days later.
